Garth Brooks is saddling up to release a new single and are hopes are high that he’s getting back to his honky-tonk roots.
At CMA Fest Garth told reporters about the new song…
“We were playing all the stuff that we used to play in the honky-tonks, and hearing it bounce off those brick walls and hearing those people sing along, i said, ‘You know what? What we need is a good damn honky-tonk song.’ So that’s what we went to do. This is one of those songs I can play all day long. I love this song.”

We’re expecting Garth to announce his upcoming tour in early July and his new single should be out on June 18th. We’ll have to wait an see if this new one is a boot stomp’n honky-tonk barn burner.
Last year Garth wrapped up his 3 year world in which he played 390 performances in 78 cities with 6.4 million tickets. One of those shows didn’t go as planned and left some fans asking for refunds. Read more about that, HERE.
