5. Paint Me A Birmingham

Although Paint Me A Birmingham never went #1, it peaked on the US Hot Country Songs chart at #4, this is arguable one of Tracy Lawrence’s best songs.

Paint Me A Birmingham was released on October 13th, 2003 and comes off his album, Strong.

4. Sticks and Stones

It was the first songs he ever released and it became his first #1. 

Just before the release of his Sticks and Stones Tracy Lawrence was mugged and shot four times while walking a girlfiend back to her hotel room. According to AllMusic the publicity from this incident helped fuel the song to go to #1. 

3. I See It Now

Released in August of 1994 I See It Now was the first single off Tracy’s album of the same name. 

The song peaked at #2 on the US Hot Country Songs chart but it is has been certified RIAA Platinum.  I See It Now, spent 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Sing’es Chart.

2. Alibis

Alibis reached #1 on the US Hot Country Songs chart on May 1, 1993. It would stay the #1 song in country music for two weeks.

Alibis has been certified RIAA 2X Paltinum. 

1. Time Marches On

Time Marches On, is the 15th single of Tracy Lawrence’s Career. The song is Tracy’s longest lasting #1; spending 3 weeks at the top of the charts.

Time Marches On, was nominated for Single of the Year at the CMA Awards in 1996. The song would lose to George Strait’s Check Yes Or No.
