On September 23, Trace Adkins will take the stage with special guest Murphy’s Ford!

Trace Adkins’ trademark baritone has powered countless hits and sold over 10 million albums, cumulatively. The hit list includes “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” “Songs About Me,” “Every Light In The House,” “Hillbilly Bone” (Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins), and “Just Fishin’,” to name a few.

The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is a TV personality, actor, author, spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project and the American Red Cross, for whom he raised over $1.5 million dollars as winner of NBC’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. Thus far, Adkins has performed 10 USO Tours.

In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the former oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death, and battles with personal demons. Trace has played a tough as nails biker in The Lincoln Lawyer(starring Matthew McConaughey) and a wise tattoo artist in the family-friendly Moms’ Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, Sarah Drew).

Murphy’s Ford is an American Country-Rock band hailing from Mid-Missouri. Founding members Brandon Matthews and Ryan Tomlinson say they “stemmed from humble beginnings pickin’ guitars and writing songs over after work beers.” It was evident from the first song they wrote that they had something special that deserved to be pursued beyond the back porch. When it came time to put a band together it was an easy decision to call upon the talents of long time friends and former band mates Adam Hunt on the banjo and backup vocals, Quinten Rice on the bass guitar, and Craig Wingate on the drums. Murphy’s Ford, now fully equipped with a band, a handful of songs, a pocket full of gig money, and the determination for success, hit the studio to record what would later become their self-titled ep.(released 2016) Today Murphy’s Ford can be found actively pursuing their dream and trying to turn on new fans/”family” as they would say, to their brand of edgy, get out of your seat, new country rock and roll.

On Friday, September 22nd Night Ranger will be taking the stage.

SafeyNet of Missouri

The entire proceeds for this event will again benefit the Safety Net of Missouri — a local organization providing needed support and financial assistance to the spouses and children of all local law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and correction officers, who have lost their lives performing their duty.   In recent years, public safety has taken on new dimensions. Even in the face of growing threats and challenges, police and fire professionals continue to respond with characteristic heroism and selflessness. Unfortunately, some lose their life in the line of duty. It is impossible to fill the void they leave in society and in their families, but by supporting The Safety Net of Missouri, you can express your appreciation in a tangible way for a life given on behalf of others. By doing so, you can help those they loved the most continue their legacy of dedication to public safety.
