Saturday, March 6th: Downtown Jefferson City Pub Crawl
The Downtown Jefferson City Association presents the Crawl to Hogwarts: Downtown Jefferson City Pub Crawl Saturday, March 6th from 6PM-10PM. Participants can dress up as a wizard, professor or a muggle and enjoy great drinks specials at participating bars. Prizes will be awarded for a completed scavenger hunt punch card. Food Bank’s Cole County Mobile Pantries In March
The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri will be providing food for those in need with their mobile pantry at the following locations this month:
- Saturday, March 6th: Helias Football Stadium’s lower parking lot in Jefferson City from 9AM-11AM
- Tuesday, March 9th: Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville from 1:30PM-3:30PM
- Thursday, March 11th: Knights of Columbus in Jefferson City from 3:30PM-5:30PM
- Wednesday, March 17th: Boys & Girls Club in Jefferson City from 4PM-6PM
- Saturday, March 20th: Capital West Christian Church in Jefferson City from 9AM-11AM
Wednesday, March 24th: St. Martins Catholic Church from 4PM-6PM

Saturday, March 6th: Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days
Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days is Saturday, March 6th at Osage National Golf Resort and Regalia Hotel and Conference Center in Lake Ozark. Friday, March 12th: New Beginnings Church Diaper Bank Fundraiser
New Beginnings Church in California is having a diaper bank fundraiser, now thru Friday, March 12th. Donations can be made in the baby bottle banks at area businesses including Sugar and Spice Bakery, Explore Variety Store and Edge Sign and Graphics in California. March 11th-13th: Capital City Productions Presents ” The Blue Suede Shoes Cabaret”
Capital City Productions presents the musical, “The Blue Suede Shoes Cabaret” from March 11th through the 13th in the Central Bank Auditorium in Jefferson City. Saturday, March 13th: Lake Ozark St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The Lake Ozark St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday, March 13th at 1 PM along the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark. This old-fashioned parade will include floats, marching bands, and candy for the young and young at heart. Many of the local restaurants along the strip will be offering specials. Sunday, March 14th: St. Thomas Pork Steak and Brat Drive-Thru Dinner
St. Thomas Parish Center is having a pork steak and brat drive-thru dinner on Sunday, March 14th from 11AM-4PM. Menu includes grilled pork steak or 2 brats with sides for $10 or hotdog or a brat with beans and chips for $5. Advance tickets are available at Speedy B’s in St. Thomas.
Thursday, March 18th: Jefferson City Downtown Dinner Dash
The Downtown Jefferson City Association presents the Downtown Dinner Dash on Thursday evening, March 18th, staring at 6PM. Downtown restaurants have created small plate menus featuring some of their favorites. Advance tickets are $50 each and include a drink and one small plate item at 3 different restaurants. Friday and Saturday, March 19th and 20th: COVID Style Date Night Fundraiser
Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association are having a COVID Style Date Night fundraiser on March 19th and 20th. Get a gourmet date night meal kit that you can prepare at home. Thursday, March 25th: Show-Me Honor Awards Dinner
K-9’s On The Front Liner and Diamond Pet Foods present the Show-Me Honor Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 25th at the Capitol Bluffs Event Center in Jefferson City. The event will include dinner, a guest speaker, an auction, and live music. Proceeds will benefit K-9’s On The Front Line, a nonprofit organization that provided trained service dogs to Missouri combat veterans affected by PTSD. The month of March: Capitol City Cinema Virtual Showings
Capitol City Cinema is bringing the films to your home all this month by offering virtual showings. Each of the movies has the option of being played on your TV from a phone, tablet, or computer. Saturday, April 3rd: Jefferson City Easter Egg Hunt
The Jefferson City Jaycees and JC Parks will host the 34th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 9 years old on Saturday, April 3rd, starting at 11 AM at Memorial Park in Jefferson City. The cost is $1 per child. The kids will be divided into different age groups and there will be different sections in the park for the different Easter egg hunts.
Thursday, April 8th: Young Professionals Wine Competition
The Jefferson City Young Professionals are hosting the Young Professionals Wine Competition hybrid event benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City. Tasting begins at 5 pm and lasts till 8 pm at the Millbottom in Jefferson City or drive-thru from 4 pm-6 pm. Get your tickets here.
April 15-17th: 71st Annual Dogwood Festival
The Camdenton Chamber of Commerce presents the 71st Annual Dogwood Festival, April 15th-17th at the Camdenton Middle School. The festival will include crafts, food, entertainment, a parade, and much more. You can learn more about the Dogwood Festival online at www.camdentonchamber.com.
April 30th-May 2nd: 33rd Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals
The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 3rd Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals April 30th-May 2nd along the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark. Saturday, May 1st: Lake of the Ozarks Spring Harbor Hop
The 24th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Spring Harbor Hop is on Saturday, May 1st. Kick off the 2021 boating season at the lake by taking part in this fun event. Visit over 40 waterfront bars, restaurants, and marina’s to collect your poker hand. Participants can enter the Harbor hop by stopping at any of the checkpoints. Saturday, May 15th: Osage County Community Center 80’s Dance Fundraiser
The Osage County Community Center is hosting an 80’s Dance Fundraiser. Come out and listen to live music provided by the Cherry Pistols starting at 6 pm. The money raised from the dance with go towards the Osage County All-Inclusive Playground. The event is free to the public. Find more information here.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City are in need of mentors, especially male role models. Because of the pandemic, the organization is seeing fewer people in the community volunteer as the need continues to grow. They have two different types of mentoring programs. The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri relies heavily on donations and volunteers to operate efficiently.
