Life is too short to be angry and not live the way you want! Go and binge on some of that chocolate you love. No, really go eat some… it’s a lot better for your health than you think.
Researchers from Baylor College of Medicine found that consuming the cocoa goodness at least once a week is linked with a reduced risk of heart disease. Dr. Chayakrit Krittawong stated “the study suggests chocolate keeps the heart’s blood vessels healthy. In the past, clinical studies have shown that chocolate is beneficial for both blood pressure and the lining of blood vessels.”
What the study did not examine though, was how different kinds of cocoa impacted the heart or blood vessels. Surprising right? Who would have thought something so sweet and seemingly unhealthy is actually so good for you.
However, don’t go too crazy. If you want our suggestion; moderate yourself! Too much Chocolate is still too much! What kind of Cocoa is your favorite? Dark, white, or milk?
