Ozarks Amphitheater Announces Initial Lineup for 2017 Season

Dwight Yoakam, Get the Led Out and Aaron Tippin highlight the music lineup for Ozarks Amphitheater’s 2017 season.

Country Music legend Dwight Yoakam, with Frankie Ballard opening, Get the Led Out, the “American Led Zeppelin Experience”, and singer, record producer Aaron Tippin is just the beginning of the music lineup for Ozarks Amphitheater’s 2017 season.

Ozarks Amphitheater, recently named #5 of “The 10 Best Live Music Venues in Missouri” by www.BestThingsMo.com. Located in the heart of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks area, just off Missouri Route 5 at the Pier 31 Rd/Bridal Cave exit.

“We are excited to bring these internationally-known headline acts to Ozarks Amphitheater and to showcase this magnificent venue,” said Bill Carle, amphitheater owner. “We have a somewhat hidden gem here in the rolling hills of the Ozarks. It is a great venue to visit as part of a long weekend at the lake. Our goal is to become the premier summer music venue in Central Missouri.”

Ozarks Amphitheater 2017 Schedule

Sunday May 28: Dwight Yoakam opens the Ozarks Amphitheater season on Memorial Day weekend. The versatile Yoakam is a Country Music fan-favorite, as a singer, songwriter and also as a film actor. His most recent album, “Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars”, adds Bluegrass to his repertoire. Frankie Ballard opens the show. Ballard is best known for his, “Sunshine and Whiskey” album, featuring “Young and Crazy”

Saturday Aug 26: Get the Led Out, also brings a repeat performance to Ozarks Amphitheater, during the weekend of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States.

Saturday Sept 23: Aaron Tippin, the “Hardest Workin’ Man in Country Music,” brings his blue collar and patriotic themed music to Ozarks in conjunction with the Lake of the Ozarks Air Show.
