If you’ve already gotten your tax refund and are looking for ways to spend it, you’re in luck, because it’s NEW MUSIC TUESDAY!

Jo Dee Messina – Me

Her first album since making the move to her own record label, Jo Dee Messina got the fans involved in this album. Me was a crowd-funded album, with fans helping to meet the $100,000 goal set on the Kickstarter website to make the album a reality. Some of those Kickstarter supporters also got to sing on the album, performing backup vocals on “He’s Messed Up”. Messina did quite a lot of the writing for this record, including the song that’s been getting plenty of attention, “A Woman’s Rant”. The critics like this album, and you will too!

Ronnie Milsap – Summer Number 17

Fifty-plus years in the music business and Ronnie Milsap shows no signs of slowing down. The 71-year-old pays a nostalgic tribute to the songs that he loved growing up and early on in his career with this mixture of covers from pop, R&B, and rock and roll, as well as the title track and a remake of his mid-80s hit “Lost in the Fifties Tonight”. What a great way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his very first number 1 hit!
