The baby is the couple’s first child together and first son. Jason is already father to two daughters from his previous marriage. He told Field & Stream Shop that agreeing on a name has been no easy task, “We’ve got a few names under consideration but we haven’t told anybody what they are yet. We found out picking a name for our son’s been tougher than we thought, you know — names that I liked she didn’t like and names she liked I didn’t like. We had one name that we both kind of threw out and we were like, ‘Okay, yeah, I kind of like that,’ and she was like, ‘Yeah, I kind of like that, too,’ and so out of about a hundred names there was one that we somewhat agreed on and so I think that’s gonna be his name. We’re still not a hundred percent sure yet. We’ve got a few more months here to think about it and see if anything else hits us but we’ve got one we’re kind of eyeing right now and it took us a while to find that one, trust me, but more than anything we’re excited for him to get here and meet him. He’ll be here before Christmas so we’re excited.”
Jason will hold his Concert For The Kids in his hometown of Macon, GA on Friday, August 11th. All proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, which serves as Bibb County’s only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia. The concert will also feature a performance by Luke Combs.
